Modelling Noise and Development - A Workshop at the University of Bath
In this BBSRC-sponsored workshop, we will bring together a diverse collection of recognised experts studying development using quantitative and modelling approaches in order to explore the current state-of-the-art. In addition, a poster session will allow all participants to present their work in an informal atmosphere.
The meeting will take place on 18th and 19th May 2017 at the University of Bath’s Edge Building. The evening of the 18th May will allow all the opportunity to explore the delights of Bath, a UNESCO Heritage City.
We look forward to welcoming all who are interested in the application of quantitative and mathematical modelling techniques to problems of developmental and stem cell biology. By hosting researchers from across the developmental biology, stem cell biology, biophysics and mathematical biology communities, we aim to generate an atmosphere of lively and informal discussion of these interdisciplinary approaches.
Registration Due to generous sponsorship from the BBSRC we are able to keep registration costs to a minimum. Students £50; PDRAs/PIs/Non-academic participants £75. Registrants should arrange their own travel and accommodation. VisitBath have a dedicated website to accommodation available in Bath - https://visitbath.co.uk/accommodation
