We are hosting the 2024 Basic Income Earth Network Annual Congress, with over 300 delegates from the worlds of research, policymaking, and advocacy. Join us for three full days of talks, debates, interactive events and cultural activities bringing together critical thinkers from the basic income and related social reform spaces.

Woodland Court (Single/Double Ensuite bedrooms) is conveniently located on the east side of our Claverton Down University of Bath campus. With 4ft double beds (single occupancy), and a limited amount of double ensuites and twin rooms (both double occupancy), this varied accommodation is perfect for conference and events guests.

Marlborough Court and Solsbury Court (Single Ensuite bedrooms) are both conveniently located on the east side of campus, close to the lime tree, East car park and main bus terminus. The rooms are modern and have an en-suite bathroom. 

The Quads (Single Ensuite bedrooms): These high-tech and modern single rooms are small but perfectly formed. With their carefully thought through spaces and en-suite wet rooms, The Quads are perfect for short term stays. They even have mood lighting and USB charging points.

All bedrooms come with bedding, towels, high-speed Wi-Fi connection, tea and coffee making facilities in the kitchen. Breakfast will be served daily in one of our university food outlets.

From 30 July to 1 August (3 days) 2024, the University of Bath Department for Health and the Centre for Qualitative will host the 9th International Conference on Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise (QRSE2024).

Monday 29 July will host several qualitative workshop sessions. Workshop participation includes breakfast, refreshments and lunch. Details of these can be found on our website and in the next steps of registration site. 

The conference aims to bring together Students, Early Career Researchers, Professors and Practitioners interested in qualitative research and the sport and exercise sciences. We welcome those who have a passion for sport sociology, sport and exercise psychology, sports medicine, political science, sport policy, leisure studies, sport coaching and more!
