AccommodationAccommodation Postgraduate Summer School 2025DescriptionThe University of Bath looks forward to welcoming you to the Claverton Down campus for the Postgraduate Summer School 2025 We are delighted to be able to offer accommodation in Polden (which is located opposite the West car park. Please note that Polden is a separate building from Polden Court, which is next door). All bedrooms contain a small 4-foot-wide double bed, en-suite shower facilities and come fully equipped with bedding, towels and a high speed Wi-Fi connection. Tea and coffee making facilities (but not crockery or cutlery) are available in each bedroom or communal kitchen. Each bedroom can accommodate up to 2 people. The same charge is made whether the room is for one or two people, but we do need to have the names of all residents. If you would like to stay with a partner, please book the room in your name only (i.e. the name of the student attending Summer School) and then email the Guest Accommodation team (guestaccommodation@bath.ac.uk) with the name of the other resident ahead of your arrival date. All rooms sold include a continental breakfast for each resident (including partners staying in your bedroom) and is served daily in Polden Cafe from 8am-9:30am. Please note that accommodation will only be available to book online using this online store until 24 May 2025. Limited accommodation is available, so please ensure that you book before this deadline to avoid any disappointment. After this date, please book here. Accommodation booked after 24 May may still be in Polden, though this cannot be guranteed, will be subject to availability, and may not be with other Summer School students. Rates for accommodation will be £72.00 per night (Sunday to Thursday) and £92 per night (Friday/Saturday only). Please note that the Sunday to Thursday rate includes a 10% student discount. However, discounts on rates are not available on Friday and Saturday nights. In order to select multiple dates, please manually add individual dates to your basket one at a time. Once you have selected all your prefered dates, please proceed to the check out. Directions Travel by car: If you are using a sat-nav, use the address: West Accommodation Centre, Polden, Quarry Road, BA2 7PS. Free car parking is available in the West Car Park (opposite the West Accommodation Centre) for those who have parking permits, which can be obtained from the team at the West Accommodation Centre. Travel by Train or Bus: There are regular buses to university campus from the city centre. The bus stop on Campus is located at Arrivals Square. For more information, please visit First Bus webpages. To view a campus map, please click here. Checking in Our reception is in the West Accommodation Centre, located opposite the entrance to the West Car Park. You can check into your room from 3pm. Our reception is open from 8am to 10pm. If you arrive outside these hours, please contact our friendly security team on +44 1225 385349. Checking out Make sure you check out by 10am on your departure day. You can return your keys to reception or drop them in the return box just outside. |
