Registration of non-paying guests to the University of Baths 3rd Disciplinary Literacy Symposium

Description

We are delighted to announce the University of Bath’s 3rd Disciplinary Literacy Symposium on the 17th and 18th June 2026 at the University of Bath. The Symposium will bring together some of the leading educational specialists, linguists and academics in the field, who will present and discuss their latest work in the areas of: 

  • Disciplinary knowledge and literacy
  • Genres and genre-based pedagogy
  • Cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Teacher/researcher collaboration
  • Corpus-based pedagogy
  • Data Driven Learning

 

The event is designed to be of particular interest to secondary school teachers, and promises excellent opportunities for discussion, knowledge exchange, professional development and networking. This is a two-day in-person event with refreshments provided.    

 

Attendance tickets 

Please indicate below which days you wish to attend.  An optional two-course lunch with drinks in the Lime Tree cafeteria is available for you to come and network, chat and meet these leading scholars.  There will be complimentary tea and coffee breaks for all attendees.

Registration for attendance and lunch will close at 23:59, 8th June 2026. 

 

 

Visiting Bath: 

Unfortunately, the University of Bath cannot provide accommodation for this event. However, the city has a wide range of hotels, B&Bs and guesthouses which are bookable through the Booking.com website here.
