DescriptionFrom 30 July to 1 August (3 days) 2024, the University of Bath Department for Health and the Centre for Qualitative will host the 9th International Conference on Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise (QRSE2024). For further details about the conference, please click here. Monday 29 July will host several qualitative workshop sessions. Workshop participation includes breakfast, refreshments and lunch. Details of these can be found on our website and in the next steps of registration site. The conference aims to bring together Students, Early Career Researchers, Professors and Practitioners interested in qualitative research and the sport and exercise sciences. We welcome those who have a passion for sport sociology, sport and exercise psychology, sports medicine, political science, sport policy, leisure studies, sport coaching and more! Please note that cost will be applied once you select your registration type. This online store will close two weeks prior to the start of the conference, so please make your booking by no later than the 16 June 2024. All registrations are non VATable, however please note that VAT will included for any purchases of social events or overnight accommodation.

A 50% refund for cancellations received by midnight on Monday 18 July 2024. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received from Tuesday 19 July 2024. More InformationWe have a variety of accommodation available across our Claverton Down Campus for the QRSE Conference. Please see below options available: Woodland Court is conveniently located on the east side of our Claverton Down University of Bath campus. With 4ft double beds (single occupancy), and a limited amount of double ensuites (double occupancy), this varied accommodation is perfect for conference and events guests. Marlborough Court and Solsbury Court (Single Ensuite bedrooms) are both conveniently located on the east side of campus, close to the lime tree, East car park and main bus terminus. The rooms are modern and have an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms come with bedding, towels, high-speed Wi-Fi connection, tea and coffee making facilities in the kitchen. Breakfast will be served daily in one of our university food outlets. Please note that unfortunately we do not have any Family accommodation available. If you're looking for family accommodaion, we recomend that you look for alternative accommodation. Children under the age of 18 years old must be supervised at all times.
